Mary Ross, NWACC's Dean Health Professions - A Bully!

A Bully!

Photo of Mary Ross, NWACC's Dean of Health Professions to include:  nursing, physical therapy, first responder, dental assistant, paramedic, fire science, and respiratory therapy. (photo obtained from NWACC's Web site - www.nwacc.edu)

We have been in contact with many of NWACC's allied health students who were bullied and wrongfully expelled.  These students were enrolled in the nursing program, the physical therapy program, the respiratory therapy program, and the EMT program.  Each of these departments has a director and above these directors is Dean Mary Ross.  It is Mary Ross who condones and encourages the bullying of these students.  Her accomplices are some of the instructors of these departments, the directors of these various departments, Judicial Affaris, Dale Montgomery, VP of Learner Support Services, Todd Kitchen, Senior VP of Learner Support Services and also Provost to the President, Steven Gates, and President Becky Paneitz.  And, supporting these individuals is the Arkansas Attorney General, Dustin McDaniels.

Arkansas tax payers and parents of NWACC students - these individuals need to be held accountable for their actions and these students deserve to have their cases properly addressed.

*The nursing program has an examination scheduled for 9/5/2012 but these students have not been able to purchase their text books due to back order.  How and with what, then, will these students be able to properly prepare for this exam?  We believe it should be rescheduled to a time when these students have their texts and have had time to properly study and prepare for this exam.

  1. I know her. She's not a nice person. She's as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside. She has victimized, bullied, and booted lots of allied health students over the years and she derives great pleasure in her bullying. It's her number one enjoyment in her miserably empty life. She, too, is a very jealous person and the students she victimizes all have something going for them, whereas she has nothing going for her. Sad soul she is.

  2. Hopefully these students were given the chance to study with their text books before taking the examination. That's as is should be.

  3. I do believe she needs some plastic surgery. Very homely person, which is probably why she is a bully. Most likely, she doesn't like pretty women.

  4. Yep! She's a total biach! A friend of mine was accepted into both NWACC's and UofA's nursing programs so, naturally, she chose to go to the much better school of UofA. Mary Ross and Elaine Halloway were so insulted and got somewhat irrate with my friend. Their egos are way too big for their britches. I giggle about this all the time.

  5. The nursing students took this exam (mentioned above in this blog entry) and they all failed it. This, of course, will affect their grades. I know for a fact that the second-year nursing students can never earn above C grades because of Mary Ross' grades tampering practices.

  6. Just heard on the news that WRMC donated $250,000 to NWACC toward their new allied health building. News also mentioned that NWACC's allied health programs are among the best in the nation. What a joke! Who are they kidding? Compare podunk NWACC to schools in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Boston, San Francisco and many more places. NWACC doesn't hold a candle to any of the schools in these places! NWACC is sooooo arrogant! From me to you, don't go to NWACC at all, particularly to their allied health programs. Will ruin your life!

  7. Mary Ross is an economics teacher. What the heck is she doing as dean of allied health when she knows nothing about health or about the dignity of the human being? She is an evil person and should be fired from her job. Furthermore, she should be held accountable for all the allied health students she has bullied over the years. I, personally, know several of these students and what she has done to them is abominable.

  8. It's definitely time to replace her with a health professional who is far more qualified to run the allied health programs and with an individual who supports the students, not bullies them. She needs to go!

  9. This woman looks what I imagine that the fictional character of Dr. Doreen Littlefield, from Martha Stout's "The Sociopath Next Door" would look like in real life. For the covetous psychopath, their pleasure is in the taking from, rather than the giving to, other people.

  10. I have taken her for accounting 1 and 2 and have found her to be a great teacher who is passionate about the course material. Sorry to hear such issues in the past and find them hard to believe as being negligence on her part. Definitely take her in person classes if you can. Discrediting her by her looks is shameful and should not even be considered publishable.
